- Committee Updates
a) Hospitality
Mary Engle has done a great job recognizing life changing events of our residents (Hospital stays, and deaths). Melanie Havekes volunteered to assume this responsibility.
b) Treasurer’s Report
The current balance of our Village Checking account is $723.56
c) Social Activities
Christmas Party
Theresa Wilson and Vee Lauffer did a great job setting up a very nice Christmas Party
Spring Golf Outing
When the weather warms up and there is interest, we could schedule a 9 hole afternoon golf outing on one of the short courses followed by a Pizza Party.
BYOB schedule
Melanie Havekes will send out an email with a schedule of our monthly BYOBs so everyone will have an opportunity to pick a month when they would like to Host the BYOB. This could be at home or at our Village Picnic tables.
Block Party
We discussed having a social gathering in someone's driveway, or one of the Cul-de-sacs. Perhaps on a warm summer night when there's no BYOB scheduled. Bring a drink and a chair to socialize with our neighbors.
- Election of Officers
a. Village Rep
Jackie Schumacher volunteered to be our new VR
Ray Martin and Bruce Eisenhard volunteered as alternates.
b. Treasurer
Bruce Eisenhard volunteered for Treasurer
c. Communications Rep
Bruce Eisenhard volunteered for Communication Rep
- New Business
There is a need for volunteers responsible for the Holiday Decorations at our Village entrance. Some of us have more than one holiday or just can't handle the one we have anymore. It amounts to decorating the entrance for the holiday (5 days before the Holiday and removing them a week after) then storing the decorations in your garage or attic. The village Treasury will reimburse any expense.
You can show your creativity and it can be fun!
